Comment: After two happy years of using the CX-400 Senkhov, they were safely torn through my fault. Long could not decide what to take for replacement. I originally wanted to take a second pair of CX-400s, but I got a discount for Sony, and I decided to try them. And did not regret. At first, the sound was rather mediocre, but after warming up at 20-25 hours everything fell into place. Balanced sound, deep and distinct bass, middle frequencies are not muffled, the top is clean and clear. Any genres of music sound great. For its price, these are almost perfect headphones. If you compare the CX-400 and EX-450, then it is more likely decides the preference to the company, since those and those instances are superb sound. The only thing I would like to note is the wire: at the CX-400 it is not textured, respectively, they are more confused and more frozen. No, I'm not saying that Sony is not at all confused and does not freeze. Confused and cold, but not as much as Senhi.

Comment: The sound can be described as even with a clear bias in the low-frequency register. You can feel the sound tightness, especially in the high-frequency region, there is no pan width, but there is depth. The sound is hollow without crumbly tops. It does not have transparency, openness and airiness, but there is power, strength and depth, as well as a powerful bass. Clarity and detail at the height, the sensitivity is good, the headphones pull to the fore even quiet sounds. Personally, I don’t really like this sound, I want to release it, set it free and push it apart. Relatively "right", these headphones will sound only with an equalizer. Moreover, the equalizer should be very functional with a large number of engines (such as in PowerAMP and Foobar 2000). Immediately cut the hump at 5-7 kHz and 70-300 Hz, then there will be less mumbling and more airiness in the sound. You also need to add lower and middle middle and top above 8 kHz. I would not recommend these headphones to lovers of heavy and metal, they will disappoint you, because they will mumble at 100 Hz and strain with a buzz at 5-7 kHz. But the classics, pop music, Russian rock, psychedelia and other more tranquil genres take place quite adequately. I had a general impression of the “capriciousness” of the headphones, they weakly respond to the equalization and scream sharply when trying to achieve a transparent and open sound. A comment for Sennheiser CX300 II lovers: in direct comparison, without equalization, on the same track and volume of Sony, for all its squeezing, it sounds still better and more detailed.For Experia owners: the right sound will be bundled with the native Sony MH-750 + Walkman + EQ headset (the sound will be juicy and beautiful, at the same time for a modest fee).
So, the EX450 is a decent model, but capricious, it requires a good source and a flexible equalizer. Not universal in music genres.

Advantages: deep and crisp bass. There are different tools, not gurgling. Very smooth middle, which the same bass does not cover. Well, do not cut the top ear. Very balanced ears. Ergonomic shape! Interesting wire texture.

Disadvantages: quite heavy plugs, because of this, with a loose landing may fall out during movement. The wire could be flat. Confused of course less than the senkhov, but still confused.

Comment: Great headphones for your one and a half thousand! I use the same overhead mdr-zx600 - the sound is almost the same! I recommend to buy! There is also a version with a microphone.

Before buying, he pushed away from the reviews, stumbled upon a few saying that there was no top, the whole was scoring bottom, no, everything was wrong, and even if at the first connection the bottom was slightly exceeded, this is already the specifics of playing each device on the standard equalizer settings which, incidentally, is easily corrected. I used earlier syngers 200 and upl standard about anything in comparison with these Sony. for this money is definitely the best option, if someone is faced with the choice between these and 300-sinhayzery, a definite choice is not in favor of the Germans, who have a strict cheap build, and the "shortfall".

Comment: I chose between these Sonya and Shenheiser three hundred. In favor of the second there was a greater number of reviews, but I still, as a Sony fan, decided to take these ears. And did not regret. The sound provided that the size of the ambyushur was properly selected was pleasantly surprised. The bass is not very deep, but well detailed, worked out, without mumbling. The middle frequencies are even, only the vocals seem a bit squeezed. Instruments sound lively, brass, keys, guitar are well read. The high frequencies are too stained, the equalizer is corrected — it became acceptable, the cymbals and percussion became well detailed. Honestly. I was expecting the worst from them, as I listen mostly to rock from different directions, and this is a very complex genre for headphones of this type, because. they often give out lower case overloading, which is why the rhythm section sounds turn into a cacophony of boomy sounds. Here I repeat, there is no such thing, everything is clearly and detailed. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THE CORRECT TO FIND THE SIZE OF GUM - this greatly influences the perception of sound.
We were pleased with the rich equipment: 4 sizes of ambyushur, a special device on which surplus wires are wound, a large velvet case into which, besides the headphones, a USB flash drive format player also fits.
The design of the headphones themselves is just 5 points - Sony does not save on this, the style is felt, the wire is designed as a braided cable, the connector is L-shaped, it is more reliable than direct ones. The wire itself is thin, it doesn’t really inspire confidence, but I use it rather carefully, let's see what happens next.

SUMMARY: if you are a fan of the present SonyStyle, love good sound and at the same time do not want to waste much, then these headphones are for you. Feel free to recommend for purchase!

Advantages: Better CX300 is for sure. The basses don't cover everything (as in the 300s). Good workmanship. I do not know how the wire will behave in the cold, but it looks stylish. From the ears do not stick out. Listen to the acoustics or enjoy the classics, too, heavy metal too (although I would like more for the low frequencies). The scene is wide, all instruments sound separately, not merging into one common mess. Sound good right out of the box. But be in the store IE4, would buy them.

Comment: Bought in for 1590 rubles. I started listening (on Sony Xperia TX): the sound is good, on the equalizer the sound is tuned as it should, I used regular plugs before, these headphones surprised me with their ease of positioning in the auricle.
