Advantages: Excellent sound. Trouble free. Miniature and. in the same time. It looks live solidly. I drag from the kitchen to the windowsill in the room, to the loggia and back. Radio reception is very confident everywhere, flash drives read superbly. Periodically I listen to compacts. Memorizes 20 FM stations, more than enough for me. Never "moves" from the wave, which was observed in many devices.

Disadvantages: There are no disadvantages. 100% self-sufficient)))

Comment: I took it for the sake of listening to the FM band and audiobooks. You can see the number of the track, its time, it is convenient to navigate in individual chapters, it remembers the place where it stopped - all that is necessary for an amateur audioliterature. Reads flash drives without fail.
What is perceived by some as a "muffled sound" is, in fact, a kind of loudness, which the models of such a "caliber" do not have, did not meet at least. The sound there is usually flat, plywood. And this "baby" kept as low and high as possible, only in miniature. Nothing rattles at high volume.
Nice appearance (more like with the handle raised :-)) The material is pleasant to the touch, not easily soiled or scratched. Communication with all these buttons, pressing delicately and confidently - a real pleasure. Well, what else to say? It was chosen very carefully and slowly, not one day. It was interesting to study today's market in this segment. Revised, tried everything worthy of attention. Next to no other device will not put. Either the sound is disgusting or primitive flash player or the design is depressingly paro-sexual, a la transformer or a la teenager.
Nothing near and close will not put. Is that the older SONY from this line of models - it is also good. Both there and here there is a feeling of reinforced concrete reliability and possession of a thing. This is SONY guys :-).

Advantages: 1) Workmanship - the front panel is made of pleasant matte plastic with microgranules - there are no prints, even if the hands are not the cleanest, the rest of the plastic is also normal (compare with cheap manufacturers, glittering and smacking plastic of many manufacturers), all parts of the case are perfectly matched; 2) Ergonomic thoughtful, easy to understand with the management, most of the functions are logical; 3) Laconic design, small size, nothing superfluous - such a workhorse. In this sense, the lack of a remote control is not a problem for me (it is on the desk at work) - but the reliability is higher, at a lower price. 4) Sound for budget equipment - good, without rattling. But do not expect miracles - bass is not enough, some plasticity is sometimes noticeable, juiciness could be higher. And yet, for its class, the sound is very good. It is a pity there is no bass boost function, as in the older models. 5) There is audio input / output, usb-port. Both flash drives and CDs read smartly and well, there are no complaints, not capricious, nothing warms up. Sony is still Sony. Nothing has ever been buggy, the stations, tracks, volume remembers - no problem with disconnecting from the network. 6) Price. With the promotion and discount coupon, it cost 1,290 rubles. The price is quite justified.

Disadvantages: 1) The quality of radio reception is not bad, but not perfect. The same Echo of Moscow in some places catches with small rattles, more confident radio stations are good. 2) The sound is good for an inexpensive radio tape recorder, but still, sometimes you want more in terms of the same bass and frequency tuning. See below for how to get around this.

Comment: I use it as a radio / player at work, and at home, in the kitchen, I connect it to speakers 2.1 with a subwoofer (I recommend Sven or Top Device). Sony gives a good sound to the audio output of the headphones - be it a CD, radio or flash drive. As a result, we have a decent music center for modest money. The speakers of the radio, of course, can not give such a surround, live sound with bass. And good, but inexpensive speakers (often significantly better than those used in low-cost centers) do not have a sound source. Here everything is solved autonomously, without the need to use a laptop. what could be fraught in the kitchen))

Advantages: Nice appearance, compact size, made with high quality. The flash drive plays perfectly, the discs read perfectly, the reception of the radio is good. Ability to program the sequence of playing tracks and many features. No krutilok and all the buttons and it is good. Powered by batteries and mains power. The sound is good.

Disadvantages: They are not, for such money is a super and nice thing. On the bass do not need to count.

- Functional - digital radio (good reception, even with the antenna removed in the center of the room on the third floor of the five-story building); reading tags (in English), the ability to select folders play, but not everything "porridge"; the screen displays (optionally) the name of the song, artist, album.
- It remembers (if you do not remove the disc or flash drive) the song on which it stopped (even if you unplug the plug), the truth starts playing from the beginning of the song - it is not very convenient when listening to audio books, it remembers the volume and source of playback. I focus on the "memory" because a huge number (even brand-name) devices have big problems with it!
- Build quality inspires confidence.

Disadvantages: Would pay for the screen backlight, alarm clock and remote.

Comment: I chose a small baby radio for 3 years for songs and fairy tales. Initially I wanted the Philips, but after listening to and examining the quality of the devices, I came to the conclusion that for, such a price and in such a size, the sound of the radio tape recorder is excellent! And functional! Chinese style and phillips of this size and price possess an uncomfortable sound, a morally obsolete toggle switch for the playback source and analog radio! The device is more than satisfied, the daughter calls it bumbox.

Comment: For such a price is a sin to find fault, but still. The sound is good, the volume is enough, the control is simple, the radio catches well, the flash drive reads quickly. But one thing - at first the radio tape recorder happily lost all the offered CDs, but after a couple of hours refused to see the CDs that they had just lost. And selectively. Licensing had no effect on the loyalty of the recorder to the disk :)) I agreed to lose the self-made horror, but refused to see the licensed product. Usually I came across this with a DVD player, but so that the radio. And the rest, since the CD is not a priority in the presence of USB, everything is fine so far.

Advantages: Long chose the radio for the nursery. Build quality is good, reads the flash drive, saves all the settings.The house is located remotely from the stations and not all receivers are caught, so the main selection criterion was a confident reception of the radio, which surprisingly Sonya does well.

Disadvantages: The radio tape recorder in the sizes has appeared less, than it would be desirable. The sound corresponds to the size, with louder playback mutters "barrel". There is not enough remote control and a clock on the screen, the in connectors and headphones would be swapped ..

Advantages: Sound quality worthy of the name of the company "Sony". Bought for 2'300 rubles. and in my opinion this money is worth it. Therefore, I will list the advantages that differ from other models at a price a little cheaper or more expensive:
1) Supports navigation through folders (and shows its number), and not just forward / backward through one track (I saw complaints about other receivers about this)
2) Fully digital device, all on the buttons - no mechanical twist (volume and tuner many other tape recorder analog, even the more expensive models found)
3) Digital tuner with quick tuning (autoscan). You press and hold the settings button - / + starts scanning, as soon as the radio wave is found, the search stops (searches quickly).
4) Resume playback mode (starts playing from the track where it ended, unless you specifically reset it by pressing “STOP” and “random order of playback” is not turned on). Also, the repeat modes of a single file, a separate folder, or the entire flash drive / disk.
5) Reads mp3-tags and displays on the display (a trifle, but differs from others)

In general, an excellent radio with a high-quality assembly, beautiful and thoughtful design (convenient placement of buttons).

Disadvantages: I did not see, I hope and I will not notice.
But it is important:
There can be no more than 999 files on a CD / flash drive. But there may be 128 more folders, but not more than 128 files in each.
The manual says so, in practice, I have not checked it yet.

Disadvantages: The sound is deaf, not enough high. But in principle, not so bad compared to a compact receiver, of course. Loudness is enough for me both in nature and naturally at home.
It seemed that the USB sounds worse. But maybe it just seemed.

Comment: Qualitatively made.

Convenient control, up to the fact that a small pimple sticks out on the volume up button, it is convenient to adjust the volume in the dark.
Long battery life. I worked in nature for 1 set of week. But this is only on the radio and through the audio input. So on nature it is better to take it along with the player and cable. It is interesting that when the batteries were sitting down, the device was cut down at a certain volume. But when turned on, there is a couple of seconds to reduce the volume and after that the radio tape recorder continues to work for quite a long time until the next decrease in volume. So you can deflate the batteries to dryness.
Radio liked, pleased with the choice.

Comment: Of course, the sound is not from the 90s, then the same "SONY" did the highest quality radio, but quite good.
Headphone jack at the back, not scary, because not a minus.
No remote control (also not scary, but it would be more convenient with it).

Total: a solid four radio tape recorder deserved, leaving many far behind.
