Advantages: Picture, aperture 2.8, convenient focal lengths for everyday life
Disadvantages: not found
Comment: I bought a kindergarten in the Sony A77 kit. At home and on the street I use Sony Nex-7 with a fix 35 / 1.8 through an adapter. Of the two copies available in the store, neither suffered any front or back focus. I checked the work on both my cameras. On Nex, when there is insufficient light, the focus "picks up" without a flash, clicks when focusing, sometimes it blurs. With a flash - the same frisky and accurate focus, like a fix. It focuses on the A77 instantly, the sound is somehow less noticeable. Again, if you compare it with the Sony 50 / 1.4, when focusing, the sound is much more “iron” and louder. The picture is even more decent sometimes than on a 35-ke, and much better in sharpness and background than in Sony 18-135. If you compare with the Sony 16-50 - then the price will be 2 times lower, 75 mm versus 50 mm at the long end, and the picture quality is not much worse. In general, an excellent lens for traveling with children, to take it as the only one. Yes, for the landscape a little bit narrow, and the zoom ratio is slightly lacking for approaching something far away. But if you don’t build yourself a great photo artist-multi-dozer who is interested in the life of ants, he doesn’t miss horse races, and still takes planes on the background of the Moon, and in his free time portraits in the style of “nude” sculpts for everyday life, traveling with family and friends, children's parties - a very decent option.

Advantages: Great lens for indoor shooting. If you have a good light will make great cards. I rent in the studio every day only to them)). The workers are all focal, at 75 - a great blur for the studio. On the street, of course, it's better to shoot for a longer focus, I use 70-200 as well tamron.
Disadvantages: There are downed copies. At first I looked in photoplus - there was a lens with a clear front focus. Tried to push :)) Then I ordered in the interest - razor sharpness!)))
Comment: Satisfied with the purchase.

Advantages: Picture, versatility, price / quality
Disadvantages: Noisy motor (although I would not consider it a disadvantage in his case, there is an analogue with an ultrasonic motor, and the price is completely different)
Comment: I use it regularly, take 18,555 whale instead, I rent sports in the hall, sometimes outside, architecture, a child (the most difficult because of mobility). I am quite satisfied, of course, autofocus sometimes blurs, but with experience this becomes more predictable (when I look at it not there). Most of the photos in the albums are from it, if you wish, you can see the exif files are open)

Advantages: Glass is not bad, light, good picture, not high price
Disadvantages: autofocus - smears very often, especially in the dark, a screwdriver, therefore noisy and slow
Comment: In principle, not a bad glass for unpretentious photographers, it does not give a bad picture, but even if you have a crop, I recommend to pay extra and take sony 16-50 2.8

Disadvantages: 28 is still small. On the universal does not pull, it would be at least 24.
Autofocus often does not catch.
Autofocus often does not catch.
Comment: Strengths - birds, little animals - and other objects at small and medium distances. Cats come out very well. But as a landscape - not the option. Macro photography is medium.

Advantages: I bought yesterday B., 2007 Bought from an adult peasant, who apparently cracked over him, "perfectly brilliant" lens. Who has 2.8 is not working - not lucky with the lens, or with something else ... I have at 2.8 the so-called "dermatological sharpness". The blurring zone is gorgeous, even better than on my 50F18, although it may have something wrong with it ... this is my 4 lens, I do not use whale lens, those two do not have problems with the autofocus motor, or do not get into place when turned off, or left and so on until you turn off the camera. This is perfect.
Disadvantages: Like all - zhuzhanie. Video in general can not be used, and it is very disappointing. Probably a tall price.
Comment: Bought for 6500 =)

Advantages: The main advantage is the focal range, which is very successful for me. Well, the aperture, of course! At 75 good portraits are obtained with a beautifully blurred background. The lens turned out to be lighter and smaller than in the picture, the bag after the fifty kopecks did not have to be changed. The photos are quite clear, the colors are saturated. With the outer puff it works fine, with the built-in one - sometimes it blocks the light with its dimensions.
Disadvantages: Under difficult light conditions, autofocus often lies. Therefore, for those who like to shoot in a fully automatic mode, it does not exactly fit - it will focus on anything other than the subject))) If the object is static, I try to turn it off.
Comment: I use with A580. I think a very good generalist for its price. After the whale - heaven and earth. I also forgot about fifty dollars, as it’s about a terrible dream, it’s sometimes impossible to shoot it indoors, there’s not enough space)) my latest photos from this lens are in this album http://fotki.yandex.ru/users/kotik222/album/ 120803 / a same in the album http://fotki.yandex.ru/users/kotik222/album/118618/
