Comment: I bought a 16GB version right in March 2012, for 989 of those rubles, I never regretted a single penny. Under XP there were some problems with its formatting, did not agree to anything other than FAT32, under Seven, all questions disappeared.
The determining quality then, at the time of purchase, was the speed of exactly USB 2.0, since 3.0 just started to appear on the latest computers of the mass segment. And now, in 2018, there is little hospital in which 3.0 has on the front panel, only behind.

Copying speed does not sag below 60Mb / s, with simultaneous copying, 30GB almost does not heat up, slightly lukewarm.
The flash drive is perfect for backing up and transferring large files (movies, photos), for which it was purchased.

I read somewhere on the net, they say everything - Transcend rolled down, after 2013 cheap controllers and memory are used. I hasten to refute this slander, because On the technical side, everything is fine. This model fully justifies its price.

This new 780th died on the day of purchase. He took it under warranty, replaced with exactly the same 780th. The second died the same day of purchase! I did not expect this from Transcend. Signs of dying - when copying a file to a USB flash drive, a message appears that the size is exceeded and the USB flash drive falls off the system.That is, there is simply no such disk in the system after the error. Default on Fat32 flash drive. Copied small films on 2GB. Then the flash drive is not formatted and not corrected by the system. Then begins to be determined once. Data is not considered not change. The system hangs when accessing the disk service or just when starting the explorer until you remove the USB flash drive from the slot. Tin. Transcend is a big fat minus! It was a sequel. I'm stubborn. I changed the USB flash drive for the third time for the same. Right in the store asked her to check. It turned out to be working. Let's see how long this third one will live. In the service, when they checked the second deceased flash drive with some program that can write to the flash drive past its file system, they said that it failed approximately 80% in the recording test.
