Westone UM PRO50

Advantages: Great sound and detail. Very broad picture. Large set of earplugs, there is plenty to choose from

Disadvantages: Price, therefore, took "with hands" almost new, but 1.5 times cheaper. For me, the earhook wire is unusual.
Two years later:
Foam earplugs die very quickly. After 1.5 years of use, I ordered new ones on ebay.
In the left ear fell the wiring from the connector to the driver unit. I had to disassemble the case and solder the wire. And after the disassembly, the second posting fell off (it also disappeared). After all glued the glue gun.
Addition: a year later the same postings were repaired and in the second earpiece, did the same, also soldered.

Comment: I use with astell kern ak120 128gb titan and sound card on the computer SB ZXR PRO. Previously, I used sennheiser ie8 and HDR 160 headphones (they still exist now), but I felt that they didn’t “reveal” the player. I am very pleased with the new headphones, they overlap my old headphones.

Advantages: Elegant detail.
5 drivers per channel - this is not a joke.
Removable cable.
Many embouchures in the kit.

Disadvantages: Need a "decent" sound source

Comment: Great fitting! No complaints about the sound, just listen and enjoy. I have the Astell & Kern AK300 player as a source, I am satisfied with this bundle. Naturally, listening to them MP3-players does not make sense.
Large selection of ear cushions, foam and silicone. "Fit" headphones under their ears is not difficult, the truth will take a little time, while you measure everything.

Advantages: These "babies" already have 5 drivers each - that's why all-all-all frequencies sound very cool. The sound is very bright and detailed. Mount ear hook, my favorite cut plugs. Completed with interchangeable cables and a bunch of foam and rubber nozzles. Sound compilation is very good.

Disadvantages: Price - they hit my pocket painfully, I was not used to spending so much on plugs (although I understand that about 1 driver costs 8-9-10 thousand, it means 5 drivers - 40-45-50 thousand).
Unfortunately, not very suitable for sports.
Bad recordings (in terms of quality) are impossible to listen to - all the flaws and rustles are immediately heard.

Comment: I thought that I would be very sorry for the money spent on these headphones. Fortunately, I didn’t regret it so much - the UM PRO50 makes absolutely all the plugs and the majority of full-size headphones cheaper than 100 thousand rubles in terms of sound quality.

NB! It is very, very important to choose the accessories from the kit in order to truly enjoy the sound. It will take a lot of time (there are a lot of different attachments), but it really needs to be done.

Advantages: Stunning top, clear and natural sound, wide stage, a huge number of ear cushions of the highest class (that is why I love this brand so much). And of course, a big plus is the fact that they are manually collected in the USA.

Disadvantages: We need an excellent portable sound source like HiFiMan or Astell & Kern - on apples and other cheap players, the headphones will not open to the full.

Comment: I use these headphones for over a year. I am very pleased with them, their sound is not embellished, not amplified, they will not be squeezed - you can listen to music the way it was recorded. It's important for me.

Advantages: The sound is of the highest quality and ultra-precise.
Just perfect for stationary listening to any kind of music. Work great with portable audio.

Disadvantages: Medium fit for mobile use on the street and poorly suited for active sports (running, biking, etc.)

Comment: After very long auditions of completely different “plugs” with a price range from 3 to 40 thousand rubles. Nothing better, as the UM50 could not find. Everywhere, either there are some compromises, or serious ergonomic problems are not comparable with the price.
In terms of sound, the UM50 is simply the pinnacle of quality. Ultra-precise, evenness over the entire frequency range, excellent dynamic capabilities in terms of volume. This is something that delays and makes you hear more than you ever imagined before.
After the purchase, I thought for a long time, but would I regret about the money spent. However, after the selection of pads for the size of the ear canal (which takes a very decent time for about 2 hours), the musical abilities of these babies are simply amazing with their capabilities. Neither the Bier T5P, nor the 770s, nor the ATH-50M nor the Senha HD280 compare with them. These babies make everyone at once absolutely in all respects, of course, if at the head of the corner is the task of getting the most accurate and correct sound.
I was not ready to give money for the expensive Bier T5P, because they sounded far from ideal and it was difficult to give ten thousand for them. But when I heard the possibilities of the UM50 I did not regret about 24 thousand rubles given for them. It is really worth it.
Just to remind you once again, before listening, you should carefully select the pads from the kit to fit your ears. This is really important.
