Comment: I have to say that I am a fan of Xiaomi. I advise each of my relatives, friends and acquaintances to take Xiaomi wisely! In general, I waited mi8 from June! And so I bought it!) The first impression is a bomb! I had xiaomi mi 5s with installed Gcam, thanks to which the phone was very cool! So, the Mi8 is a bit unusual in the hand (you need to get used to it for a couple of days, it’s more than mi 5s), it just has an awesome Screen (I enjoy it every time), the power is prohibitive, the main camera is excellent (but so far the raw firmware and it shoots in different modes in different ways , then he smears his face, then something else), but most of all I was struck by the front camera, it is simply amazing (at least for me).
I liked everything in the phone, except for raw software and an unlocked bootloader (they couldn’t install the firmware in another store), because of this, Gpay does not work and we need to think about how to solve this problem in the future! (if someone can intelligibly tell or throw off the link of the video, site, etc., I will be grateful).
The phone is really a bit like the Iphone X, but it costs 30,800 p. (I took for this price), but not 60000 + p.I did not regret my choice for a minute! The phone is worth the money, the only thing is if you have time, then it may be worth waiting for the official firmware (they say they will probably be released closer to September), but I could not wait and now enjoy it!) All good!)

3. NFC does not work (for the time being the consequence of the previous paragraph, we are waiting for updates)
4. Is there no headphones in the set ??! (According to the seller, xiaomi does not put headphones into the kit in any of its models)

Comment: Transferred from the iPhone 6s plus, the choice fell on the Mi8. I can say that in many respects it is better than the iPhone (the comparison was made with the relative’s smartphone, iPhone X). Mi8 c pays back the money invested. Star shot only when asked about the camera, behind the front-end. It could have been removed on NFC, but you just need to wait.

Comment: I still broke and did not wait for the officers and MIUI 10. And, probably not in vain. For a couple of days, the device showed itself very well. Everything was promptly imported from Mi4i (right up to the fine settings like the melody on the alarm clock), all bluetooth headphones, speakers
and the clock is connected at a time, the browser drags even the heaviest sites. It does not hang at all !!! Sometimes even ofigeveuesh from the speed of downloading and installing the application.
By autonomy - lasted 28 hours with constant use of the Internet, social networks, instant messengers and 1.5 hours of video viewing.
NFC works fine, finger scanner is also no complaints.
So quite a toy. Worth the money.

Advantages: Reasonable price. Quality at the level of the flagship models. USB Type-C, Noticeably less weight than Mi Mix 2 / 2S, but not as light as 6X. Keep comfortable. By the English interface MIUI 9 used, does not cause disgust. Google Installer 3.0 installed Google services that were absent in the Chinese firmware from the first time. The charge lasts longer than the old Xiaomi models with a larger capacity battery, and it charges much faster. Good cameras, both. There is NFC. Great microphones.

Disadvantages: No wireless charging. Fingerprint reader on the back. There is no 3.5 "headphone jack (although the included is a Type-C adapter - 3.5" jack, I'm not going to use it).
Also, “very well,” some design elements are trying to repeat the iPhone X. But still the same fingerprint scanner in place of the “apple” and the undermounted 7 millimeters to the bottom edge of the case the screen gives out Xiaomi with giblets.

Comment: Taking advantage of the opportunity, I bought this model in a company store in China. At a slightly overestimated official price, as the company actively uses the current deficit of this model in the domestic market, and we did not want to get involved with Taobao in the face of this uncertainty.
