To begin with, we will define what qualities an ideal radiator should possess? It:

 

 

  1. Good heat transfer due to the developed surface of a large area;
  2. High heat transfer coefficient of the material from which the radiator is made to reduce the inertia of the heating system when the temperature of the supply water changes;
  3. Resistance to aggressive effects of oxygen and other substances that may be contained in poorly prepared mains water (which is not uncommon). The inner surface of the radiator should not contribute to the formation of stable deposits and can be easily washed (thus, durability and stability of characteristics are ensured throughout the entire service life);
  4. The strength is sufficient in order not to collapse with a sharp pressure surge in the heating system (with possible hydraulic shocks);
  5. Light weight;
  6. Easy installation.

The bimetallic radiator considered by us has all these advantages. Let's again, on the same points compare our device with other types:
