Top 10 telescopes
The age of the visual (or telescopic) pipes immediately give out the names of the classic schemes - “Kepler's pipe”, “Galilean's pipe”. Although these schemes are more than 4 centuries old, they have enough design flaws, and now in the shops you can find characteristic telescopic tubes that have not changed in design since the days of the pioneers.
But there are more modern models of telescopes - they are more convenient and more compact, and the image quality in them does not suffer from aberrations in the same way as the “classics”. If you are looking for a good telescope with a high coefficient of approximation, then only extremely eccentric people can consider “classics” as an option for purchase: the length of the pipes of Galileo and Kepler at the same time can easily cross the meter mark. But a modern pipe with a Roof or Porro-prism will be more compact at times: this is why the lion's share of optical devices is being assembled now precisely according to this scheme, be it binoculars, monoculars, or telescopes.
It remains to understand only one thing: what to choose on the counter? We present the ranking of the best telescopes, widely represented in Russian stores.

The best "classic" telescopes

A thirty-fold pipe with high-quality (especially for this money) optics will be a good choice for “ground” observations: thanks to the reversing system, it is free from the “vertical mirror” that is inevitable for Kepler pipes. With a weight of just over half a kilo, it is convenient enough for hand-held observations, but also a tripod thread on the body is useful. The presence of a “mechanical sight” on the tube with a tripod is especially convenient: it is possible not to catch the object through the eyepiece, which, with a narrow field of view, is not always fast, but directed by the “front sight”. The case itself is durable, has a rubber coating. In short, from the mass models offered in our stores, this telescope remains the best “classic” in terms of price and quality. However, do not forget a common problem for telescopic systems - such pipes are not tight (otherwise the discharge that occurs inside when moving the knees apart would fold the pipe back), and they are not always suitable for observations in the open air. Classic telescopes may not be very comfortable, but you cannot refuse them in a certain charm. That is why they are good as a souvenir - well, and Spyglass SG2, shining with brass (moreover, this is not plastic coating), fits perfectly into the retro style. So pour the rum, and, tapping on the floor with wood, awake the parrot. The manufacturer didn’t lose with the style - both the corporate box and the leather lining with deliberately coarse firmware fit here one hundred percent. This is beautiful on the shelf, and can be useful in practice - for example, in historical reconstructions. As a gift, such a pipe will look great. But at the same time it also works - although its 12 times cannot be called a serious approximation (it can also be pocket monoculars), the picture in the eyepiece will be better than most of its “historical originals”: whatever one may say, lens polishing technology is much more accessible now and more productive than three or four centuries ago. The five are already in appearance, but here the optics are quite good - = although there are distortions along the edges of the field of view, they even add some antisurability. |
Best telescopes with medium magnification

With an 80-millimeter Bresser lens, of course, “darker” than premium class telescopes with lenses from 100 millimeters, but also appreciate the difference in price (and it is one and a half to two times)! With its consideration, this pipe looks much more attractive, its blessing and possibilities are good: the approximation is regulated from 20 to 60 times. Durable rubberized case with good dust and moisture protection is well suited for use "in the field." Of course, it is not particularly convenient for tourists - dimensions and weight, and even the need for a tripod are doing their job, but the hunters will be interested in: aiming a gun or a carbine at the beginning of the season with a pipe is much more convenient than constantly running to the target. The focusing mechanism is simple, but this is not a serious drawback: Bresser is configured quite conveniently and accurately, there are no flaws in the “mechanics” and quality of fitting parts. So this model has deserved recommendations completely. Main advantages:

On weekends I observe a port (I live by the sea), and a useful thing at the shooting range. Quality - excellent, "real German", as they say. |

Nikon's wide zoom range makes the Nikon tube very versatile — it is useful for spotting amateurs and amateur astronomers, and for quickly assessing target shooting results too. And all of this is collected with the recognized “Nikonovsky” quality - something, and the Japanese have learned to do optics for a hundred years perfectly. A compact tripod tripod and a branded case come complete with a telescope, so that it is immediately ready for operation, and in any conditions - the robust case is dust and moisture resistant and filled with nitrogen. There is no need to complain about the quality of optics - the level of chromatic aberrations and distortion is minimal, but they are typical for optics with zoom. Plus the tube is also quite light, without taking into account the case and the tripod, the weight is only 620 grams. Main advantages:

Compact, light and sharp pipe, with which you can work with the hands if desired. "Nikon" is "Nikon", which is already there. |
The “middle class” in our ranking of the best telescopes is represented by the TrailSeeker 65-45 Degree - a modification of the basic “hiking” tube with an angular eyepiece, which is more convenient for observations with a tripod. But at the same time, the pipe may well be used with hands - if not at the maximum 48 slots, then in the region of the minimum frequency (16x) for sure. The body is made of impact-resistant plastic, which made the pipe light enough - 1.3 kg. Both water protection and anti-fogging are provided for - in a word, the pipe is fully prepared for “outlets”. Optical elements are made of the same BaK-4 glass with multi-coated XLT, like the top models of Celestron, so the picture in the eyepiece is bright and clear. Main advantages:

If there was a tripod in the kit, it would be possible to immediately move on a hike. Alas, it saved. |

It seems that today Celestron telescopes occupy our rating. The compact tube of the same brand doesn’t hit with multiplicity (adjustment - from 12 to 36 times), but it cannot be denied “transportability”: it weighs only 510 grams, almost at the level of many monoculars. But at the same time due to the angular eyepiece of observation with a tripod here is much more convenient. And the quality of optics is not bad - let the lens and only 60 mm, relatively low multiplicity does not cut the aperture as noticeably as in the more “long-range” models. For the “entrilevel” they did not regret a good antireflection coating, the case was reliably sealed and filled with dried nitrogen. The result was a pipe that will interest many - the price is not so high, and the quality for this money is decent. Small dimensions and weight will be of interest to tourists and hunters. The best pipe from the category "up to 8 thousand", I think. And it is convenient to use, and the image is of decent quality. |

Due to its low price, the telescope with a maximum magnification of 45x and a 50mm lens is quite compact and light - even with the package and the complete tripod, it weighs only 1.2 kg. The main thing is not to confuse it with the Base 50F model: these are completely different pipes, the model with the prefix F has a fixed multiplicity (7x). Optics (material - VK-7) is not bad in quality; one cannot say that it has excessive residual aberrations. With long-term observations, the eyes do not get tired, as it happens with low-quality optics - it seems that the sharpness is normal, but “something is wrong” all the same. With Levenhuk, long-term observations are quite possible - of course, if you directly compare this pipe with higher-end models, the difference will be obvious, but do not forget about the price difference. This budget telescope for little money offers us the opportunity to work with magnifications up to 50 times, which is undoubtedly interesting. However, a tripod is already necessary for such a multiplicity, and here the inconvenience of a direct eyepiece begins to affect: it is not for nothing that most of the telescopes are equipped with angular ones. Taking into account the fact that the pipe came out compact enough and comfortable to hold with one hand, it would be worth expanding the range of multiplicities to the lower side: you can, of course, look at the minimum 20x without a tripod, but the shaking of your hand is already visible to the eye. But it is good that the manufacturer, by reducing the price, saves on the secondary, and not on the quality of the optics. Indeed, a simple and not very convenient case, and the primitive covers on the lenses are much less “sin” than the soap and dark, or even frankly “crooked” optics. We have no complaints about the quality of the image for Yukon. Main advantages:

Oh, those Chinese. Look at this telescope - you will not find the “Veber” lettering on the case, but the large and embossed “Pioneer” inscriptions, and even made in a font very similar to that used by the Japanese company of the same name, immediately climb into your eyes. Immediately, the Cherkizovsky market, Abibas sneakers and other Chinese-made joints smelled right away - and, for the generally well-known budget brand, such mimicry “under the company” already looks ridiculous. But still talk about the pipe itself. Its multiplicity range is from 15x to 45x, the pipe fits comfortably in your hand, so it can be used without a tripod. Especially at the minimum multiplicity - at the maximum already and the shaking of hands is noticeable, and manufacturing flaws are already beginning to emerge into the light in the form of “soapiness” of the image and the growth of distortion at the edges of the visual field. Take this into account when choosing a telescope: although the price is “tastier nowhere”, but the quality corresponds to it. Main advantages:

Top telescopes with high approximation
69 975
Fans of optics, the Celestron brand is already well known - under this brand low-cost “entreelevel” is also produced, and very high-quality optics, but at a reasonable price. So, it was Celestron that in 1987 launched the first amateur telescope CompuStar 14 with computerized control, which became the ancestor of modern GoTo telescopes. As for the proposed pipe, it is undoubtedly worth the money: excellent lenses with multilayered enlightenment and minimized aberrations, durable magnesium alloy body, convenient focusing system with two controls for quick, coarse adjustment and for accurate. The design of the tube makes it easy to change the eyepieces: the fit is actually standard, 1.25 ". There is also the possibility of installing a bracket for photographing through the tube. With a standard eyepiece, the range of approximations is from 22 to 87 times. Given the ease of replacement (and this, by the way, premium-level pipes are not always offered!), The pipe’s functionality can be further expanded, and in fact it can be considered a full-fledged “universal” with a set of eyepieces for observations at relatively short distances, and even for amateur astronomy - even in the depths of the Galaxy you will not look, but the same near planets of the Solar system will definitely become an interesting object. In fact, we have not just a telescope in our hands, but an inexpensive entry-level telescope - “aiming” at a small lens, you can quickly switch to the main 100-mm telescope with a maximum approximation of 100 times, and this is already quite suitable for learning astronomy. The pipe has a turning eyepiece and can be mated with a special adapter for cameras or video attachment - you can always share what you saw in the sky. The only, but rather serious, “but” for the Russian climate is that the pipe cannot work in the cold: both the plastic controls and the rubber seals are corny freeze. And this is despite the fact that it is the most convenient time for observations for the astronomer in winter. But in the heat of the "Yukon", of course, becomes an excellent ticket to astronomy, and at the same time inexpensive. If you buy this pipe in the shooting range or on the shooting range for shooting rifles, then the frost resistance is no longer so critical, but the low price will quickly pay for the purchase. A good telescope for your money. In winter, of course, it does not stand for a long time - but I can not stand it either! |
What to look for when choosing a telescope?
Naturally, first of all on optics quality. Both lenses and prisms should have an antireflection coating, and this is all the more important the higher the multiplicity of the tube. Housing It must be metal - it allows you to ideally perform the alignment of the optical system, because of this, in many respects “cheap” and distort the field of view of cheap models, where the case is molded from plastic.
It is most convenient to compare several pipes in the store in the evening: then the difference in luminosity is more noticeable. Optics quality test simple: setting the same multiplicity on several pipes, try looking through the window at the remote objects. Signs, banners, car numbers will come down - anything, as long as there is text on a contrasting background. At the same time, pay attention not only to readability, but also the difference in the visible approximation with the same numbers on the scales: for cheap pipes, the multiplicity is often “Chinese”, overestimated.
Spyglasses are primarily stationary, but not always working from the premises. So here you should not forget about good moisture protection, and in models with high approximation, amateur astronomers will not be superfluous separate viewfinder, allowing faster "aim" in the right sector of the sky.
Have a good shopping!
