It began with unpacking the computer and detecting that the USB cable was not included. I launched the kit downloaded from Ineta for MacOS, suggested choosing the connection type (wireless) and performing a number of simple manipulations with the MFP (hold the button for how many seconds) and voila, the MFP in my home network, which can be seen by the tablet with the phone and the computer itself.
Scanning photos is also very pleased.You put a photo, click to scan a photo and wait for 15-20 seconds. The borderless photo in the right format is in the Images folder. A 7-year-old son managed to scan an old album from 200 photos in an hour and a half
Refilling the printer also does not cause problems. Reversed native cartridge and infused ink. Ink control is disabled. The truth was that I had to wash the blue ink with a special wash, since the semitone of blue printed not from the very beginning, but missed the beginning of the photo (apparently non-original ink came into conflict with the original, washing helped)
The original cartridges are sold immediately with printing heads, so if the color cartridge is spoiled by refueling, you can replace it and play again with the refiner :)

My terribly explosive, very buggy and constantly printing HP Photosmart 3180 test page died, and I was glad, because I couldn’t endure this mockery. I began to choose, I wanted a device without dancing with tambourines, compact, simple and inexpensive, not too noisy, printing through the air (for a lot of cords from equipment looks unaesthetic) and necessarily white, preferably also glossy, under furniture. I chose from three major manufacturers of copying equipment, excluding HP, for the whims of the photosmart left a mark on my soul :) Under my claims in general, only one of these mfu approached. While I am satisfied, I set up for the evening, there is one thing: printing from the iPad is possible only when the main computer with settings is turned off. I do not know why I haven't figured it out yet. Printing good quality papers (photos I do not print at home), less noisy and not too bulky, for the price of 2500 is just fine. Let's see how quickly the cartridges from the kit run out, maybe I will put snapshots ... By the way, HP also had simply indecently expensive cartridges and just as quickly ending, I hope, here with this better.

I had no problems with setting up wi-fi, the printer was connected immediately. Scans just great! Print quality is also good (for such and such a price!). After half a year of operation, he began to blunt on the selection of paper, sometimes it does not capture at all, or can seize several sheets at once. It might be worth trying another paper. Mobile devices: you need to spend about an hour, or even more, so that the printer starts printing from a tablet or smartphone (on android or iOS), so I never figured out how to print from an android, although there are two ways: via Google virtual printer and through canon play on google play. Similarly, there are two ways for Apple devices: through the airprint and through the application, both methods worked in half an hour and printed out a test document. In the future, printing is as simple as simply pressing the share button in the application and then pressing the printing, and two seconds later, printing begins, after seven seconds the printed page is already lying.
For some reason, the printer started working with the iPad only after installing the software on the laptop and printing a test sheet from the laptop, but maybe this is just a coincidence.
From the computer after installing the software, everything worked perfectly. Just sit in the bath and print :)

The easiest way to set up Wi-Fi is from the phone: click the Wi-Fi on the printer - it blinks twice, then send the information about the access point via the phone (application - Canon PIXMA / MAXIFY PrintingSolutions).
