6. Smell. It is there, but the first 30 pages appeared, and then it was insignificant and for a couple of seconds during printing. not scary.
7. No USB cable to connect to PC. For me, this is not a minus, because There are lots of wires at home, but if you bought a printer, it won't work right out of the box !!! So do not forget to buy the wire.
8. Dumb as Colt is simple and clear, there are no stupid functions and buttons, unlike MFPs, which may not be scanned due to "the absence of a cartridge"

This, in my opinion, does not add points at all to the durability of the whole structure, especially considering that this drum unit separately costs a bit more than the entire printer assembled with this drum)).
2. For photo printing, the print is too grainy, although 1200x600 is stated (the quality is not photographic, but the image on the printed sheet is quite distinguishable).
3. The power cord is not separable from the case and the USB cable is not included.

Comment: I bought today for 2390 rubles. and printed out a couple of pages of text with photos.
Attention! Before using the printer for the first time, remove the orange cover from the cartridge! Otherwise, the driver will begin to swear that there is no toner or the printer cover is not closed. I was about to carry the printer back to the store, but noticed that the cartridge had a lid on one corner))
Then I discovered that it turns out that the cap is drawn with an arrow on the instruction manual (remove). On the stub itself is also written REMOVE and Brother. But for me, this procedure was the first time. How could I know that cartridges have plugs?
Together with the printer I bought a USB cable for 5 meters for 200 rubles. and did not regret it.
Considering that Brother is the only company that still does not like and does not equip its modern printers with tiny and greedy chip-based cartridges (protected from refueling and cost like the printer itself), other manufacturers have chosen this model.

I was pleased with the starter cartridge, lived 400 pages, then began not to print pieces of images, and after 50 pages the printer itself stopped printing. The starting cartridge refills easily and is reset. I used HP universal toner and everything works. I print on it in black and white polygraphy.

Disadvantages: There is no connection cord in the set + it is impossible to control the furnace temperature by the program, it turns off on page 80 due to overheating. This is perhaps all the flaws.

Comment: I took a printer to print b / w business cards and calendars, ads and flyers, paid off in a week. the printer is not very whimsical and can withstand a large load.

Advantages: I read the reviews ... Speak flimsy? And you that they gathered firewood to choke? The printer weighs 4.5 kg, small, lightweight, easily installed even by a child. The volume of the cartridge in the kit was enough for about 500-600 sheets. I went to the store, bought a jar of toner, refilled it without problems, continues to print. No need to suffer with any chips, firmware, zapaykami, etc ... Not a pleasant smell when you first turn on - this is a normal phenomenon, as long as the stove does not warm up, there is nothing poisonous in it.
The tray holds about 130-150 sheets, depending on paper quality. For its type, it is quite economical in terms of power consumption. It does not strain the appearance. Easy to clean and wash. For home use is more than enough.

Disadvantages: Because the printer will not bother with the warranty, but if anyone is interested, it simply installs the connector c1413 and extends the cord as much as you like (this is for those whose hands grow from where it should be and who ends the warranty). The lack of a data cable in the kit ... I do not see a minus in this, because This is not such a scarce posting ... Noise? Well, if you don’t put a full ear on it, then nothing is noisy, but in its fullest position it is normal, better than any Samsung people, who even look at it when they print all the insides ...

Advantages: One of the cheapest laser printers on the market. I liked the beautiful design, practical black body color and compactness. In addition to all this, the printer has a separate drum unit and a tonner cartridge, which during repair will reduce repair costs. And most importantly, the Brother company is the only one who does not chip their printers / cartridges, that is, it is possible to refill the cartridge on its own cheaply, or to buy inexpensive branded counterparts, which pleases.

Disadvantages: The printer starts long, about thirty seconds. Sheets are spat out too much, so that they fly a little beyond the tray of the printed sheet holder. The printer is very light and does not cause the impression of a strong thing. The power cable is soldered to the printer, which makes it impossible to replace it with a longer one. The paper tray is not very roomy, the instructions say that it is designed for 120 sheets, it is hard to believe. Every thirty minutes the printer automatically cuts down the power, due to the Energy Star technology, because of which it is necessary to turn it on again from the button (perhaps there is an option to look for where to disable this function in the attached software). Included, as has already happened, there is no USB, so be careful.

Comment: The printer definitely justifies its cost. For infrequent home use, it fits perfectly. It is not desirable to take it for the office, due to the small volume of the cartridge and not high print resolution. I advise everyone, thank you for your attention!
