A large amount of 8gb internal memory is enough to store several cards, if the internal memory is not enough, then the card can be stored on microSD (the slot for microSD is located under the batteries), you need to create a garmin directory on the card and throw the necessary cards there. In the 64 device, it became possible to charge batteries, but only native, made by Garmin. Their production batteries are dual, and have a special platform that presses the button under the batteries (protection against a fool, so that people do not charge simple batteries). But such a thing can be bypassed by putting a piece of plastic on the button (let's say a SIM card) and inserting ordinary batteries from above, thereby holding the button down. After that, simple batteries will be charged from the cigarette lighter in the car. In general, the device is excellent, never failed. I advise!
