Comment: I bought a replacement for the deceased G500, in comparison with it, all the buttons became larger and it was more convenient to press them, the scroll wheel became much like R.A.T. (which is undoubtedly a plus), the weight has become even less with a full range of goods. The proportions of the mouse slightly changed: now a large area was given under the fingers, and under the palm the other way around the place diminished (I personally did not like this decision).
Separately, I want to say about the mode of smoothing the motion path, in which the mouse tries to give the computer only ideal values, for example, 45 degrees, 90 degrees, 30 degrees, etc. This feature is very useful when working with graphic editors.

Advantages: 1. Convenient form. (Thanks to Mom and Dad that I am right-handed, otherwise, instead of such a comfortable mouse, I would honestly have stolen from a comp. University class 5 years ago.) If in fact, the mouse is very ergonomic in shape and rubberized in places of grip.
2, Mouse wheel with variable scrolling type - "stepped" and "smooth". For me personally, it is more convenient when the wheel has fixed positions, a mechanical memory appears for squandering unnecessary pieces of sites, for example. But sometimes it is necessary and quickly to scroll more than 100 pages of text and then a “smooth” mode will come up, which can be switched to with one button (it feels hard) =)
3, The sensor works well, without the effect of gradation and improves the accuracy of positioning. I honestly did not notice the difference between 4k dpi (on the previous mouse) and 12k dpi in games, it may just be a matter of habit + settings of the “leveling” mouse that I used to understand. But it is very convenient in various graphic editors, etc. If necessary, "isolate" a particular pixel or line.
4. Weights. if you have a degree of sensitivity at the level of a princess on a pea, then maybe you will notice something. For me, this is nothing more than self-indulgence, but they are attached and, well, it will not perish in the household.
5. Wired. Strange, perhaps, a plus, but the absence of all kinds of shamanism with the mouse charging and the presence of a wire in the sheath, though not the highest quality, makes me happy.
6. In games, everything is familiar and of high quality. Probably when everything just works, in our world this is already a plus. In this case, I note that I have a gaming experience of about 14 years, including participation in the comp. tournaments, at the same time, I think that a mouse for both 1000 and 5000 can work well and at least not disturb you in the game. Maybe I'm just not mature enough, of course, to the REAL GURUS, but that person’s opinion is subjective as well.
7. Availability of software for customization. Everything worked out of the box and was generally not useful, but it’s still nice that WHAT OF WHAT, everything can be customized.

Disadvantages: 1. Braid cable. Well, then of course they saved - it was possible to do better.I anticipate that the braid can "fluff", although this has not happened so far ..
2. The plastic of the case on sensations is not the highest quality. No, he performs his functions remarkably, does not smell, and in general. But hands are used to various “soft-touch” on smartphones and expensive plastics in cars and subconsciously suggest that “not rich”.
3. The pathos of the name makes me smile. The wife looks skeptical at such purchases and believes that buying mice with such names is a sign of childishness.

Comment: Good quality mouse. It’s probably not worth saving on it, but if this cost is acceptable to you, then this is a good choice. Comment: I took a replacement for G9x for CAD, and I am very pleased. The mouse is large, it moves and is pressed much easier than its predecessor, although it is heavier. The dpi range is really wide and the need to switch is relevant. I used to have 2 levels faster and slower, not much different, because with low dpi accuracy was lost. Originally wanted RAT7, but accuracy, weight balancing and a great scrolling mode here won by a large margin.
At the moment, all the major flaws have been fixed in the software, I hope to finish all the minor flaws too

There were their mice (and there are) g700, g602, g600 (although this one is lost somewhere)
I do not use other manufacturers, so I will compare with the products of the same company.
1) Sensor. Here he adapts to the mat. This operation is performed via LGS. Made. Especially like nothing has changed. Put the DPI 2500 - everything is ok.
2) Form and grip. My palm is big, the mouse is a bit narrower and shorter than the 602. Why does the grip change? At 602, there was a grip "palm" at 502 - fingers. With such a grip I will be more comfortable to play.
3) Profiles. In this mouse, you can store as many as three profiles. Left two - for play and work. In 602 there was only one built-in profile - which was a failure. since the mouse could not be customized for everything at once. 700 was already 5. I think it's a bit too much)
4) Additional buttons. Here the mouse does the 602 and 700 model. The buttons are conveniently located and perfectly pressed. In 700 with side buttons in general, the trouble was. The 602 is better, but two of them were almost impossible to press. At 502 3 side buttons. pressed conveniently. The buttons next to the LMB also become more comfortable.
5) Wheel. There is a free rotation mode - hooray. Conveniently flipping documents pages. Again, plus the multifunctional mouse.
6) Weights. Since I got used to heavy mice, I stuffed them all. But in fact - you can adjust the weight for yourself.
7) Braided wire. like the g600.

Wheel noisy. but beautiful and convenient))))
