Advantages: I switched to this device after ipad air 2. The screen can be called juicy. It draws the eye straight. Video is a pleasure to watch. Thin, light, pleasant to the touch, made very well. High performance, knocked out the interface under Apple. It became very similar, but it seemed to me even more functional. Tab S2 in Adaptive Display mode has good colors. Approaching the normal IPS matrix. White is white, without blue or green tones. But the other modes are no good. But the most important thing is that even in an acceptable “Adaptive Display” mode, the colors on the screen are noticeably distorted even at low angles. Pure white begins to turn blue. I did not expect this. 2. Mechanical button with a scanner. In the reviews I read that the scanner is not the fastest and there is a slight delay. Yes, quite small there. I was ready for this. But I did not need a scanner, I turned it off in the hope that the delay would disappear. And what was my surprise that after turning off the fingerprint scanner, nothing has changed. The delay per second has remained. Sometimes faster unlocked. I have something to compare with, I have a Note8 tablet, There instantly the screen lights up after clicking. 3. Performance. Yes, the numbers in the tests are quite good. Above the average. But the real work in some applications, to put it mildly, is far from ideal. For example, open the Google Play section of the game. Scroll through the page waiting for when all the previews are loaded. And we are trying to scroll up and down the loaded page. And it does not flip through smoothly, continuous tread. Pinterest and Facebook feed are noticeably better, but small gags also appear when scrolling through the feed. But these two applications look tolerable, but Google Play just pisses me off. Technically, in AMOLED screens, the brightness change is achieved by switching the pixels on and off many times per second - at a frequency of 100-200 Hz. This effect is easy to notice by setting the screen at a brightness of 30-40 percent and waving an open palm in front of it. You will see a strobe effect. To use the tablet for reading at night at low brightness is simply impossible. Eyes are very tired from blinking. This tablet blinks noticeably from the brightness of 70% and below.

Having rummaged in the Play Market with the "brightness" tag, I found several applications that adjust the brightness programmatically - they impose a kind of video filter on the image, which reduces the brightness of the pixels before displaying the screen. From what I tried, I can recommend "Darker", which I liked the interface better. Put the icon on the main screen and get the "brightness switch".

Comment: Those who do not use the SIM card, I recommend immediately put the tablet in flight mode, including only wifi and location. It will save battery, eliminating the attempts to find the network.

Comment: This is my first tablet, I needed it for work.I wanted to take an iPad air 2, but I came to the store and felt 2 tablets and the choice was for the Samsung S2. it's just that it is easier, albeit slightly, but the difference is palpable. In the hands is nicer. The screen, for me, seemed much richer than that of a competitor, black is blacker than apple. Memory can be expanded, unlike apple. GPS catches fast, although my LG G2 works better with GPS. The camera is good, but only for the tablet. I am satisfied as an elephant, although it is a pity for money, I took it for 36,000.
