The slightest deviations from the rules of construction or finishing works, or their own clumsy development - and you are waiting for these "miracles" that are shown in this concise review.

 

To begin with, there are certain rules, wall alignment technologies. Especially when it comes to corners and cracks in the corners - here you can’t do without their jointing and careful sealing. It's amazing how a Russian person can waste material, “bend” with the necessary structural strength, choosing a base several times more expensive and having several times the need for mechanical characteristics. Why such bars for partitions? What, then, did not set the logs?

 

And you can also make capital construction either meaningless or frankly ridiculous. Why in the doorway to shift the arch from the center? Because reluctance to break a small part of the septum?

 

Or why on an unfinished and poor-quality screed to lay a new floor covering? Moreover, the baseboards have not yet been decorated, and the coating itself is not fitted to the dimensions. But the new kitchen furniture has already been delivered!

 

And if laminate flooring is laid on the floor — such a popular flooring today — then you definitely need to be careful how to work with it. Such a combination of panels is not an example of poor-quality repair, it is an example of absolute non-compliance with the technology of work. That, in fact, leads to a negative final result in any kind of finishing work. Never do that!

 

Moving to the ceiling: The curved surfaces are ready, the builders are already beginning to glue the ceiling moldings, but the corners of the walls are clearly not aligned. Is it a quality repair?

 

And if you were offered to plaster the ceiling, be prepared for the fact that if the technological process is not followed, if the work is done incorrectly, a similar defect can happen:

 

And in general, when working with gypsum plasterboard on the ceiling, it is possible, of course, to assemble the entire surface from pieces of ten square centimeters, and sew a patchwork quilt from pieces of fabric. But do you need such a "patchwork" ceiling?

 

In general, work with plasterboard and similar finishing materials is somewhat specific. It differs in the fact that under such finishing practically it is not necessary to prepare the basis. But this only means that it can not be leveled or even cleaned, but after all priming and removal of large growths and unnecessary elements is required! And to collect the frame, as in this case, right on the "raw" brick and block walls - this is, pardonte, blasphemy in relation to the room.

 

As a result of such actions, not only the walls will begin to dampen, or other defects will appear in them, but the framework itself may lead. And then, even if you were collecting the framework on a brick wall, the sheets of plasterboard may diverge - cracks will appear in the walls.

 

So with simple efforts, or rather with ignorance and unwillingness to understand the essence of the process, you can easily make beautiful, but poor repairs in your apartment. Not in his, by the way, too ... So be careful when choosing a team of builders-finishers!
