When connected to the charging cord, the mouse automatically determines the current source (charging or computer port) and, “seeing” that is connected to the PC, disconnects from the dongle, registering as wired in the system, saving all the settings, so playing the match due to a dead battery will not work.

What is not being done under the brand Xiaomi? Hmm ... There are knives, there are screwdrivers, there are electric scooters, and at least teapots. Well, but today we seem to be like a gaming mouse with the ability to wirelessly connect via a complete dongle - or wired, during which the built-in battery is simultaneously charged. By the way, try to find this dongle without a hint of pictures of the instructions: it is hidden under the top panel attached to the magnets - a rarity and in more expensive mice.

The mouse design is surprisingly strict - for manipulators, in the name of which the word Gaming appears, it can be considered an achievement. There are a few buttons - three side ones were added to the standard set, two of them work in the operating system as “back and forth” as standard (when setting up controls in games, this is Mouse 5 / Mouse 4, respectively), the third one by default takes DPI to "Sniper mode", so as not to flip it up and down with the top buttons. There are no Fire buttons, and it is a pity - it is often useful, and not always in shooters (for example, good old Geralt, having opted for elixirs, thus turns into a death machine, just manage to turn the direction of the look, and forgive us if you don’t call). Of course, the manufacturer has provided, as befits, a software shell with the ability to customize the assignment of keys and the backlight, but the trouble is, it is in Chinese. The author was not too lazy to download this program and guarantees that all that is written in it not with hieroglyphs is “Mi Gaming Mouse” in the screen saver, even if you directly open the exe-file.

The promised battery capacity is 1500 mAh, but obviously Chinese: a full charge is enough for 20 hours. And, not surprisingly, after opening the mouse, the figure on the battery can be almost twice as low, 900 mAh. Adds his own penny to the piggy bank of increased consumption and non-switchable backlight (perhaps this can be done through regular software, but try to understand it without a dictionary). In general, alas, Xiaomi still cannot move away from the previously chosen image of “... but cheap!” When everything seems to be good, but some flaws simply kill.

However, do not be afraid - inside the modern laser sensor, and thanks to the symmetry of the side buttons, the mouse has become absolutely ambidextral - it can be used with both hands equally. The sensor has a fixed sensitivity of 1000 dpi, which is enough for most tasks - hardly anyone will buy this mouse for gaming purposes, but rather it can be represented in the hands of a businessman or a programmer. The mouse works on the radio channel, the complete dongle is compact enough to not get it out of the laptop at all. Power supply - 2 AA batteries, which provides excellent battery life.

This wireless mouse can be called the “younger brother” MX Master 2S - it is smaller, lighter, the set of controls is “trimmed”, but the price is also lower. In addition, the "one-handedness" she is not so pronounced - it is still somehow possible to use left-handed.

Much she inherited from the "older sister". First of all, it is a dual-mode scrolling wheel, switched from step-by-step scrolling to smooth. Also, the wheel can be pressed in the side. The sensor is the same, with a maximum resolution of 4000 DPI, and the same battery. And, of course, supported by technology Logitech Flow, about which we wrote above.

However, the problems of these mice are the same. The first, even if you do not use the standard Logitech Options shell for settings, is struck by the lack of response to the click with the wheel - here this action mechanically switches the scrolling mode, the middle button is shown below. The “dampness” of software, which Logitech itself has known for a long time and is corrected somehow lazily, honestly, spoils the pleasure of buying an expensive mouse. But what it doesn’t take away from her is the convenience: Logitech is Logitech, they can be wrong about something, they can be lazy about something, but still they know how to make mice.

This mouse is a real wagon: it can work with the complete radio module and via the Bluetooth Smart protocol, so you can safely take it from home with your laptop without switching the USB dongle back and forth. The mouse has a memory for three devices with which it will work, the switch to select the desired one is located right under your thumb - having a smart TV at home, you can quickly switch between it, the computer and the laptop if necessary. For convenience, the select button has a built-in indicator of the selected device. When detecting the included dongle, the mouse automatically switches to working with it.

Quite a nice wireless mouse with a well-known logo on the case - what else do you want for this money? Well, except that the side buttons would not hurt, it is still a useful thing, although it would deprive the manipulator of partial ambidextrality. It only works in tandem with a complete USB dongle, and the manufacturer even fully discloses its technical data (that is, not just “2.4 GHz is there,” but the power, the number of channels in the band, and the modulation type ). By the way, judging by the above data, there may be failures when working with some Wi-Fi routers - with cheap mice, it sometimes happens that you have to forcibly turn off part of the lanes at the router so that the data radio channel does not “jam” the mouse.

Keep in mind that the dimensions of the mouse are small - not every hand it fits. In general, it is well worth the money.

The most that neither is a classic inexpensive wireless mouse with a 1000 DPI sensor and three buttons. Actually, it is well described by the price - it does not shine with special reliability, but if you started to "fool" the scroll wheel encoder, do not rush to throw the mouse or carry it back to the store: a screwdriver, a syringe and a thin trickle of white spirit or gasoline "Kalosha" inside the encoder “Cure” her once and for all. The author tested on many mice, and not only cheap: the current one, which began to work inadequately a week after the purchase, after washing it works without problems for a very long time after washing. Well, for a wireless mouse at a price that some wired models will not be top-notch, such flaws are forgivable - it looks like either soft contacts are rubbed in, or the encoder is greased when it is assembled.

The rest of the mouse is quite pleasant, the battery (using a single AA element) consumes at an acceptable speed. By installing the Smart Genius program, you can adjust the DPI, scroll wheel sensitivity. At the same time, by the way, it will allow you to configure the keyboard and work in different applications (up to record macros), even if your keyboard is not from Logitech. A useful plus, isn't it?
