And everything.Of the unspecified advantages: good video with soft and quiet zooming, quick start, convenient settings ring, simplicity and consistency of settings, charging and discharging the battery without surprises: the indicator at the end allows you to work more normally (40 photos + 5 min video with a blinking indicator), charging less than 2 hours through the charger (stone in Nikon) .RAW I don’t use it because of laziness: I got a successful JPG right away - well, but no - you can’t fix the curves by nature, and not a mirror to squeeze and pull out. I went to the store, there I tested every model for a couple of hours! eventually,
The advantages of Sony compared with Canon:
- lightning fast focuses
- the lens is slightly brighter (unfortunately it does not affect the improvement of the picture quality)
- vygyaldit more seriously
Sony cons:
- very noisy on all ISO (say hello 20 megapixel on the same matrix size)
- zooming slowly
- just slow in the process.
- inconvenient and incomprehensible menu (maybe I just got used to Canon)
- harder and bigger

Having understood the settings - an excellent camera, both for photo and video, very decent video quality, excellent photo quality among competitors (of course, according to ISO and optics quality, it doesn’t hold out to DSLRs, but still quite decent)
To work in National Geo or anywhere else you will not be taken with such a camera, and you will not take a professional movie on it.
But having a good tripod in place, a thinking brain and correctly growing hands can get smart shots !!!

I saw enough of reviews and photos of KP and I decided to order this unit for myself. From the tight schedule for the first two days I managed to photograph only cats indoors. Jpeg is really so-so ... it's a pity that in high-speed serial shooting only in it can be removed (sort of). Translated into RAw format and finally got what I lacked - a high-quality three-dimensional image that you can then edit as you like, and not as programmed in the device. Today we managed to pofot a sunny day from the balcony and through the window. Zoom and stub delight. He took off quite decent temple at a distance of more than 2 km. Bought 4 days ago. I took pictures from the window day and night and went out specially for day and night photo shoots. The quality is just amazing. Colors are natural. The battery was charged for 1 hour and 45 minutes. There are still a lot of chips, I really haven’t figured it out .. Yes, I didn’t see this in the previous review about the sound of the zoom when recording and interrupting the sound.Video Full HD filmed daughter on the hill and zoomed and everywhere the sound is clear, stereo and no sound of the engine at all can not be heard.

I actively use more than half a year. Before that there were other super-suns and soap trays from Canon (just before it was the SX30). If the 30-ke still had complaints, then 50-ka in terms of ergonomics has become almost flawless. The lens is uncompromising and extreme. In this and pros and cons.
Plus the fact that such lenses in the professional world of 24-1200 in equivalent does not exist at all. This is a unique car.
The disadvantages of the lens are striking aberrations around the edges of the frame (chromatic and geometric), and the lens itself is darkish. Matrix shamelessly soap.
But you have to be objective. With a crop of 5.6 will lick any fotik. And it would be impossible to make less crops, then there would not be such a superzoom. In terms of functionality, there is everything you need and even more.
So for soap trays it is very worthy fotik for such money. The best I've had. But I outgrew it.
Now I say goodbye to the superzoom and turn on the SLR. As a transitional camera to the mirror - it is very good. I will miss him.
