10 best lamps H11
Lamps H11 are used in both headlamps and fog. But, of course, it is in the PTF that the advantages of the design of such lamps are best revealed - both in the mount to the headlight and in the connector, they are easily sealed, which is not the case with older types of cap. For low "protivotumanok" it is definitely a benefit: not once have seen how the water inside them poured after the passage of good puddles.
As in the previous case, when we talked about lamps with the H1 base, we will single out lamps that are well suited specifically for fog lamps, and we will “put aside” those lamps that can only be used outside public roads.

Best Standard H11 Halogen Bulbs
OSRAM Original H11
550 (blister, 1 pc.)
Well, it is extremely predictable and in this rating Osram Original H11 lamps win, they are also Renault 77 01 049 263, they are also Mercedes N000000 001606, and so on: Osram lamps are traditionally installed on automobile conveyors around the world. And there is no doubt not only in the quality, but also in the efficiency of light: according to the test results, the “standard” Osram lamps bypass the lighting of the “Philips-Helper” lamps from Philips and Hella.
Therefore, we once again give Osram primacy, at the same time noting that they, although not cheap, compared with themselves, but in the original packaging of a particular automaker will often cost 100-300 rubles per unit cheaper: except that in the Renault Original packaging is “ Osrama "the price is almost the same. A strong middling in everything - that is, someone shines better, someone is more reliable, but then in the purchase, he is sure of one hundred percent, it will work as it should. |
Philips Vision H11
440 (blister, 1 pc.)
Although Philips autolamps usually perform confidently in the ratings, they clearly stumbled: the heartless light meter does not confirm the promise of improving lighting up to 30 percent. In practice, the Vision H11 lamps, though slightly, are weaker in the world than the absolutely standard Osram Original, where the manufacturer does not make any loud advertising promises. However, what is important for us is not only “how much” the lamps shine, but also “how” they do it. And here “Phillips” has a trump card - their light distribution is indeed somewhat shifted to the far zone, so that one can recognize a certain rightness of their promises. But, of course, the improvement of the "long range" is bought at the price of some shortfall near, which also needs to be taken into account when choosing.
But, if we add to this a rather low price by the standards of H11 lamps, then in general we consider the option to buy good. Main advantages:

Normal lamps h11, changed the staff on them - the light definitely beats further, and the price is good. |
Best H11 bulbs with increased brightness
OSRAM Night Breaker Laser H11
1 300 (cardboard, 1 pc.)
H11 lamps because of the more complex base of the base, of course, are significantly more expensive than the same H1 or H7, but even against their background Night Breaker Laser look unnecessarily expensive - for two lamps you will have to pay more than two and a half thousand rubles when replacing. At this point, a certain bias in the assessments will involuntarily appear - I want the money to be spent not in vain.
Like other lamps of this series, and H11 now acquired the Next Generation prefix indicating the redesigned design: there was more light, and the issue with the resource was somewhat improved. In the world, indeed, we will not be able to find fault with these lamps - both the quality of light distribution and their “range” are at a very high level. Although, of course, it cannot be said that they shine as many times as much, how many times they are more expensive in comparison with the same Osram Original. Main advantages:

The lamps are very bright, but they shine correctly at the same time (Koito was already on the wrong side of it - they hit the oncoming lane). |
OSRAM Night Breaker Silver H11
880 (cardboard, 1 pc.)
But this option at a cost is one of the most interesting in the segment of “reinforced” H11 lamps: their price rather becomes something average between ordinary and “positive percent” lamps. Specifically, here the manufacturer promises us a one hundred percent increase - well, the lamps are really brighter than the “standard” Osram, while they cost a little more than one and a half times, not so much.
In addition, they have a decent resource - it is slightly inferior to the "Standard", but they have never caused complaints about their service life. So let us call these lamps a balanced choice by the general ratio of price, brightness and resource, and in the rating of the best h11 lamps, respectively, we put them exactly in the middle. Very decent avtolampy for the money - and serve decently, and shine well, and arrange for the price. |
Philips WhiteVision H11
1 200 (blister, 1 pc.)
In their range of halogen bulbs, Philips decided not to release the most “extreme” series like the Racing Vision with the H11 base. But we didn’t lose anything from it - according to the test results, such lamps actually looked much paler than advertising promised. So, as in our previous ratings, as you remember, usually “average” won. Now the most powerful Philips H11 lamps offered by the company belong to the “average” WhiteVision series, where the manufacturer promises a sixty percent increase in road illumination.
The light of these lamps, which is understandable by name, is pure white, which, of course, is better suited for headlights than for fog lamps - and they are the main “consumer” of lamps with this type of base. But, no matter how you say, the marketing specialists of the company are not cunning about the improvement of lighting and the quality of light distribution - the lamps really shine well and “walk” for a long time. However, the gap in price with the Osram is insignificant, but those will still be better in terms of brightness and effective lighting range. Main advantages:

Top H11 bulbs with extended life
Philips LongLife EcoVision H11
540 (blister, 1 pc.)
Another expected leader is that these lamps with other caps have previously confidently acted in our ratings. And at the price they are only 20 percent more expensive than “standard” Philips Vision lamps, and yet by resource they easily surpass them, if not four times promised, then by two - with a guarantee. And this can definitely be considered a good recommendation for the purchase, even taking into account the fact that the lighting of the far zone is weaker (but everything is fine in the near field).
Like most "long-playing" autolamps, their color temperature is reduced to the yellow zone - if it is not always good in headlamps, then it is ok for fog optics. In general, our vote “for” due to the excellent price-quality ratio they receive without any doubt. Main advantages:

I can’t say that they shine worse than usual, cost a little more, so they definitely pay off. |
Narva Long Life H11
500 (cardboard, 1 pc.)
But Narva somewhat upset, to be honest: at the price, these lamps are close to Philips, but they cannot argue with him about the resource - the company for this series promises only a double-cut service life increase. No, of course, the lamps themselves are good - with stable quality, correct light distribution, comfortable color temperature. But all the same with accuracy “plus or minus a little” offers and Philips, with whom the resource “Narva” can not argue.
Therefore, we summarize with regret: of course, you can buy these lamps, and they will not disappoint ... until you try Philips LongLife EcoVision. Main advantages:

Top H11 lamps for fog lamps
MTF-Light Aurum H11
1 200 (plastic, 2 pcs.)
In this section of the ranking of the best h11 lamps, we were surprised by the fact that there are not so many rich yellow lamps with the “eleventh” base in the market. Of course, there is Osram's “fog breaker”, but these lamps are not certified for public roads. Therefore, we will have to turn to the Koreans: MTF offers the Aurum series, where the light, although not as yellow as we would like (3000 K), is still well suited to ride in the fog.
We recommend these lamps for fog lamps, even if the same base on your car is used in low-beam optics. The fact is that neither by the quality of light distribution, nor by illumination as the “near” MTF-Light Aurum does not cause much enthusiasm: they shine dull, and even without the clarity of a “tick”. For low beam there are many much better h11 lamps, and even cheaper - at least the same Osram Original (where are we without it!). But as a fog light, they work fine - but, again, due to the meager number of competitors: if Osram had h11 lamps in the AllSeason series, they would be in our rating. Main advantages:

Top H11 off-road lamps
OSRAM Fog Breaker H11
1 850 (plastic, 2 pcs.)
Even to some extent it is a pity that these lamps have not passed the ECE certification: with their “long range” and rich yellow color, they are excellent in fog lamps. In the fog, on a wet road, in the snow, they provide excellent visibility, rendering everything in good contrast and not tiring sight.
Due to the lower filament of the filament, they and the thermal regime of the headlights make it easier - and this is again a great “bonus” for fog lights, the probability of damage to the glass when driving through puddles is reduced. And, since we are talking about "off-road" lamps, then puddles on the road will meet guaranteed. Add to this a good resource of lamps - and again regret that the DOP these lamps "illegal." Although frankly, they will only strike in the eyes in the main optics - and in PTF, to be honest, itching very much to use them on public roads ... Main advantages:

They work in fog just for five and a plus, in comparison with ordinary lamps - the sky and the earth. |
OSRAM Cool Blue Boost H11
1 800 (plastic, 2 pcs.)
And again in our ranking of the best h11 auto-lamps, of course, Osram - no, they did not bring the envelope to the author, even though he did not refuse. Here, not only the “Off-Road” badge on the package indicates the impossibility of using it on DOP: the nominal power of these lamps is no less than 75 W (previously there were 80). As a result, we get quite a compact searchlight, although not with the most comfortable light for the view (5000 K). But, if the luminous flux for you is principled, then, undoubtedly, these lamps will provide it in full.
Moreover, unlike those lamps, where they try to remove the increased luminous flux while maintaining the standard 55 W power for the H11 basement at the cost of a reduced resource, Cool Blue Boost is also quite durable. Another thing is that when installing them, you need to take a closer look at the choice of optics (the heating will be decent) and in the wiring. Due to the same heating, such lamps will be a dubious choice for fog lights: those on the off-road will start to swim in water first, but in some “chandelier” on the roof the probability of cracking the diffusers from water ingress on them will be minimal. What lamps H11 is better to buy?
There are many offers on the market now. LED and Xenon lamps with H11 socket? And thoughts involuntarily arise - why not buy them too? And they shine brightly, and their resource is good. Someone can nod in the direction of the leading world manufacturers: they say, Osram has LEDriving FOG Lamp H11 LED lamps. But on the other hand, large concerns are writing honestly: these lamps are not certified for public roads, that is, even the “grandees” of automotive light design cannot make LEDs work normally in optics designed for halogen lamps. What really demand from Asian firms, firmov, or just a basement, whose products are now filled with shop windows? Such lamps not only shine frankly crooked, but also with them the resource expected from LEDs is not always possible to achieve. The fact is that optics for halogen does not provide for any cooling of the lamp - it is, after all, at the expense of the red-hot thread and it works. But for high-power LEDs, death overheating is similar: the rate of degradation of the crystal increases significantly. In general, here our verdict is unambiguous, as with the "collective farm" xenon - a solid "no."
But from halogen bulbs H11 You can already pick it up. For fog lightsPerhaps the best choice would be the h11 lamps from the category of “long-playing”: among other things, they increase the service life by a certain decrease in the filament temperature, that is, first, the light begins to “yellow” (and this in fog and rain - “ that the doctor prescribed "), secondly, the heating of the diffuser is weaker, even if it is a few percent. Fog optics in itself often suffer from a low location, and if the correct choice of a lamp does not protect a flying stone, then it is already capable of cracking glass when driving through a deep puddle.
For the same reason lamps with increased brightness (or even with increased power) carry with them a double loss for the wallet - one straight line (for they cost more), and the second indirect: with such “stoves” in the headlights it is worth being careful in wet weather, or you will have to look for new optics. In general, experiments with “amplified” lamps make sense only when choosing products from proven manufacturers: lamps of Asian origin, for example, sometimes just “kill” headlights with overheating.
Well, the most balanced choice, of course, was, is and will remain lamp "standard" lines: they seem to be no particular properties and do not stand out, but they are cheaper than others and confidently do their job. It is no wonder that such lamps are installed on the conveyor and are delivered to the dealer technical centers repacked in the company-specific boxes of a particular automobile plant: they can count money there, so they will choose the real “strong middling”.
Have a good shopping!
