Nevertheless, we note that these lamps still have sensitivity to shaking and strikes: they usually work longer in headlamps than in fog lamps. However, in terms of color temperature, they are better suited specifically for main headlights; bright white light in the fog does not give much sense. As for the price, everything is traditional here - the Night Breaker line has never been cheap. Although any “reinforced” lamps are usually two to three times more expensive than standard ones from the same manufacturer, which is really there. Naturally, the quality of the light will very much depend on the headlights themselves - in cheap fog lamps with an Asian biography you cannot wait for the promised “range”, usually the optics simply begin to shine in a direction that is not clear. We take into account that the lamps with the H1 base are nevertheless the lot of used cars, which means that the optics will no longer be in the best condition: a dull reflector, a hazy diffuser. There is a nuance in fog lamps - they are covered with cold water more often, and the “reinforced” lamps are usually hotter than standard ones. Hence, the risk of cracking the diffuser above. Careful when buying lamps with increased brightness, you need to be to their light distribution - if they start to “raise” into the oncoming lane, drivers there will be much more noticeable.
It is difficult to assess how specific lamps will behave in specific headlamps, but it should be clearly stated on the packaging at least on the packaging. lamp compliance with the European standard ECE. But led bulbs or asian xenon - things that definitely should be avoided. If xenon in lens optics can still somehow make the light shine almost correctly, then the LEDs, with their pronounced directionality of the crystal glow, have completely different requirements for optics. The headlights, created under the halogen lamps, are simply not designed for a point directed light source, well, and if several crystals are used on one LED lamp, it can even begin to shine into the sky. If you really want to have LED fog lights (and this has its advantages - in addition to efficiency, there is much less risk of cracking when driving through puddles), then it is wiser to put lights that were originally designed with a LED light source - for example, Osram LEDriving FOG.
