Unfortunately, the manufacturer’s statements about the lifetime warranty in practice have a “fine print” - in fact, only the heads and keys are guaranteed, the bits are considered consumables, the ratchets are guaranteed for a year. If we consider that it is just the heads and keys that last the longest in any set ... Well, let's leave this advertising move on the manufacturer's conscience.

For greater versatility in the set there are several screwdrivers with a fixed sting, pliers, side cutters, adjustable tongs and even an indicator screwdriver. Honestly, instead of screwdrivers of usual length I would like to see a couple of short ones, popularly called “puziavchiki” - you can always replace a long screwdriver with a bat, but there is nothing to twist the screws in hard-to-reach places. Another "but" is the color chosen by the manufacturer of pens: the combination of yellow and black looks beautiful on the display case, but in practice all this beauty is quickly smudged.

Having come close to the Jonnesway for the price, Arsenal, alas, cannot boast of a lifetime warranty, but it compensates with sufficient strength and a wider assortment. There are also narrow-nose pliers, bits and even a controversial need for a chisel in this toolkit (for a carpentry set, one is not enough, in a metalworking set, its necessity is controversial).

An indisputable plus is that the presence of screwdrivers for Torxes 15.20 and 25 is one of the most common (but there are no L-shaped hexagons and Torxes). They are duplicated with bits for a power screwdriver, plus there are bits T10, several end heads under the “stars” E4-E8. As a result, taking into account the close prices, with Jonnesway the set goes almost “foot in a leg” - someone more important is a long-lived tool, someone, without using it in heavy work, will choose a more versatile set.

Immediately, we’ll warn you about tangible differences: the arsenal keys of the Arsenal are slightly wider than the reference Jonnesway, and the risk of rolling the sides of the bolt or nut head increases as they are applied. The sponges themselves spring harder, which also does not add advantages to Arsenal - however, of course, it is noticeably superior to the common cheap sets in quality. Heads with hexagon fasteners are in the set only in the range of 4-13 mm, and all of them are twelve-sided, that is, they cannot be used for large moments.

Jonnesway S04H52460S - a set of hand tools such as "basic locksmith" - a head under a half-inch ratchet from 12 to 24 mm, quarter-inch (6 to 13 mm) can only be used with a rigid driver or screwdriver. Candle heads, a half-inch extension / knob (by the way, really capable of working as a worm), a set of bits and “last chance tools” - adjustable tongs, pliers and, naturally, a half-kilogram hammer are added to them.

Despite the fact that the quality of the tool can not complain, I do not like the complete set. Not enough open-end wrenches: only six pieces from 8 to 17 mm, fasteners with heads of 15 and 16 mm will have to be twisted with pliers. Bits are inserted into the adapter with a hex on ¼ ”, respectively, are stored in plastic cassettes from which are either difficult to pull out or lost.

This toolkit will be interesting to those who do not plan to get involved in complex repairs that require a variety of different tools, but want to get guaranteed quality. Many will be attracted by richer sets, albeit less well-known companies.

Another "almost car" tool kit, and in a good configuration - 142 items. Unfortunately, the quality of Force claims too much: under heavy loads, the tool breaks down, and a controversial question arises: why in the set is the L-shaped tear-off, if with good effort it breaks a square? However, with average home use, the strength of the Force kits is quite enough, and in a number of positions he will win over more eminent competitors: for example, there are split keys, and a ratchet in the set as many as three, and one of them has a hinged handle.

That's just to the handles there are certain issues - they are, of course, soft and fit well in the hand, but it is better to protect them from getting oil. In addition, the outer layer eventually begins to bully and peel off.

It is not entirely clear why some of the end heads are duplicated in both 12-sided and 6-sided versions. This increases the price of the toolkit without adding functionality to it - instead of them, sliding ticks in a pair to the present “goebbels” or nippers-to pliers would be more appropriate. When transporting it is worth considering the lack of the suitcase itself - the heads standing vertically in the lower compartment are practically fixed with nothing, without a lining between the halves inevitably fall out and shuffle.

Inexpensive by today's standards, the set cannot boast an abundance of objects, but all that is needed is essentially: end heads from 4 mm to 32 with two rattles for square квадрат and ½, including the standard set of elongated (9-13 mm), gimbal, power screwdriver with a square ¼ inch, adjustable and self-tightening ("Goebbels") pincers, ordinary screwdrivers with fixed pins and an indispensable hammer - with a wooden handle, but well dried, so that over time the hammer on it does not start, but compared to with rubber pads wood all same wins in convenience.

The end heads have a hex notch, so you shouldn’t be afraid to roll the faces of the nuts during a breakdown, as is the case with 12-sided. In general, the set left a pleasant impression and as a base for a home master or use in the garage is quite useful. You can only blame on plastic handles of rattles and pliers, they may seem too rigid and uncomfortable for this - but, unlike rubber, they will not have to be rubbed off for a long time from the oil that has entered.

A tool kit that is excellent in its versatility for a motorist - there is even a torque wrench, so it will also be useful in complex jobs. Change the brake line? No problem - these are split keys, and with a good margin of safety and tight grip. In case of accidental loss of a bolt or nut, the telescopic magnet will help.

There are no complaints about the set of heads: all sizes up to 32 are covered, there are E4-E20 “stars”, a bit is also more than enough. With this set, you can safely disassemble, for example, the VAZ engine and not to lament for a single missing key. The working range of the torque wrench is from 40 to 210 newton meters, so it will calmly extend the cylinder head.

As an "overhang" in the set there is an indicator screwdriver-probe. Together with good cutters, it will make the kit useful for the electrician: there is something to disassemble the half-car, there is and something to work with the coveted part of the harness. In general, of all the car kits that were included in the rating, this could be called the most balanced, although it would be much better to replace the useless small wrench with “Goebbels” or adjustable tongs.

Standing by today's standards a little, the JTC set will be able to work both in the garage and in the auto repair shop - I managed to prove the quality of the brand among auto mechanics. Moreover, the equipment here is quite decent - end heads from 4 to 32 mm, and, most importantly, all with a rounded hexagon, and not a 12-face, various bits, elongated heads. A set of ratchets standard - the main under the square 1/2 inch and auxiliary wrist 1/4 inch. In addition to them - a screwdriver for bits and 1/4 inch head with a similar socket in the handle, able to work as an extension. The longest half-inch extension can traditionally work as a teardog, but you shouldn’t increase it with a two-meter pipe in an attempt to break the soured bolt, as the square on the attachment most likely breaks down: rigid l-shaped tear strippers are used for such loads.

A little pumped up the candle heads - they capture the candle insulator with a dense and rigid rubber band, and not a magnet. On the other hand, the price of this set is more than affordable - only low-quality “China” is cheaper.

Another brand often found in auto repair shops offers us a rather curious set of tools. Almost completely (except for the adjustable wrench) it is well-equipped, but unlike the competitors from our rating, the auto-dials also contain powerful screwdrivers (two flat, two crossheads). There are more ratchets here, but they are really not made in the most convenient way - if there are no questions to the main half-inch (convenient knob, flag switch, clearly working reset button), then a quarter-inch ratchet and ratchet 3/8 with a not very convenient rotary switch (with one finger it, as a flag, not to transfer), and in 3/8 with a hinged handle, this is the metal handle.

Included are E-standard heads, and they are designed precisely for 3/8 ratchet. 12-sided heads from 6 to 17 mm are also put on it, but still I would like to see the entire set of end heads in hex.

Plus the set - the presence of durable split keys that will be needed when working with hydraulic lines (brakes, clutch). In the “narrow” places, it will be possible to repeatedly evaluate the King Tony extension cords - they have rounded tips that allow working at an angle to the axis.

So the bag came out controversial, albeit quality. As for the price, you need to be reminded that King Tony, just like Jonnesway, offers a lifetime warranty on its instrument.

The Berger BG108-1214 hand tool set is designed for car repairs. The set is successfully assembled: a good selection of heads, with quality made, a rich selection of bits. The largest bits are made not under a quarter-inch nest, but under a half-inch ratchet or knob adapter - this is a reasonable decision, considering that their size reaches the "fourteenth" hexagon and the "sixtieth" torx.

Did not like the set ratchets. Firstly, they, like in other Berger sets, have rigid and easily grafted handles, and secondly, they have unsuccessful clamps: either they release the head too tightly, or, conversely, they do not fix well. Similar, far from always "sin" and more budget Taiwanese manufacturers.

On the other hand, in the ratchets there is a durable switching mechanism - instead of a fragile ratchet there is a multi-tooth engagement, it will be difficult to break them. The strength of the ratchet corresponds to the extension-crank half an inch - it will withstand considerable effort without breaking the square.

The heads themselves are also made of high-quality steel, they can survive the “non-core” work on the pneumocolor wrench without riveting and cracking. So, if you keep in mind small improvements, then the set is definitely worth the money - you just need to immediately try the ratchets in the store.

A small set, shortened by bits - heads in it for work is enough, and they themselves have the "correct" profile, and there will be no complaints about their strength.Especially this set will be convenient for transportation in the trunk - if ordinary two-piece suitcases react to shaking by diligently mixing the contents, here the lid tightly covers the heads and does not allow them to fall out, no matter what they do with this suitcase. The bits in the set are the most common - under the cross and flat slot, "Torx" 10-40, hexagon 3-6. Cross bits only under the standard Philips slot, so that the meeting with the Pozidrive will cause certain inconveniences - fortunately, it is difficult to meet such a slot in cars.

For a car repair shop, it fits less - elegant, bright handles of rattles easily get dirty and thoroughly absorb oil, the suitcase also gets dirty quickly, causing indigestion among perfectionists and aesthetes.

This car tool kit does not hit a large list of items, but in terms of price-quality ratio - one of the best. The set includes two ratchets, a set of heads of the most popular sizes, bits (and even for large hexagons), extension cords, a worm (which is also the longest extension ½ inch), and jack keys.

There are also disadvantages: when stored in a wet garage or constantly carrying a briefcase in the trunk, you should still prefer a chrome set - there is less chance of rust on the instrument. On the other hand, chromium on a constantly working tool often begins to peel off, and the metal under the peeling coating starts to rust even faster. Here, chromium is used only partially (keys, part of the surfaces of large-sized heads).

In fact, there are more complaints about the case - the heads are fixed weakly, and I would like to see metal ones in place of the plastic latches. So for permanent use, Jonnesway deserves a recommendation (and why else purchase a professional set), for the occasional one can also look at the proposals of competitors.

The complete set of this set of tools for 94 items is standard: bits (note - under the 5/16 square, not fit to the most common 1/4 square!), 1/2 and 1/4 inch ratchet heads and ratchets themselves, small T -shaped hexagons, screwdriver for bits and extension cords. One of the extensions traditionally has a removable 1/2 square for use as a teardrop, but the strength of the tool exactly matches the price — bits (especially large hexagons that are larger than the size of the boarding size itself) crack under such an effort that the better sets withstand calmly.

As compensation, one could take a set of combination spanners, but they are not there. As a result, we have an inexpensive set in which a beautiful appearance (shines all thousands by 10) serves as a dubious compensation for reliability - a new car, where the fasteners didn’t have time to sour, they can be disassembled, but Ombra can and not vydyuzhit. By and large, the ratio of price-quality here at the level of Force, much more common in stores.

The set will successfully take its place in the trunk as a road: it will override basic needs, and you will not have to overpay for extra components. A set of end heads here can be called standard - from 4 to 32 mm, and there are deep ones even under a quarter of an inch, and under a half. Wiring problems? There is also an emergency electrician tool in the face of strong nippers.

Of course, something in a set of 69 items should have been a victim. In our case, these are primarily bits - there are few of them, and they are under the adapter for ¼ ”. Bits directly intended for the square would be much more convenient. From here there is an obvious problem with torxes and hexagons: there is practically nothing to unscrew them, there are only 4 hex bits, and there are no torxes at all. On modern cars, where such fasteners are becoming more and more, with this set you can get into a mess.

So on the trunk of the car, where this set is “registered”, most likely there will be a domestic nameplate. Nevertheless, it is impossible to say something bad about the strength of heads and ratchets, they do an excellent job with their work. What will quickly begin to freak out is an adapter for bits: they are fixed in it weakly, with time they will start to fall out.

Another set of end heads and bits of almost pocket format. Here, first of all, I liked the “pot-bellied” reversible screwdriver, which sits perfectly in the hand, but the number of heads is clearly not enough, and they cover a strange range of 5-11 mm, that is, the most running sizes 12 and 13 mm no longer exist. Basically, this set will be convenient for working with bits, which are in abundance here, and two flat ones are duplicated - in case of a breakdown of one of them, the set will not lose functionality.

But in aggregate, “Makita” clearly loses to “Bosch” - fewer heads, the price is higher.

If Bosch has a complete set of “head + bits” kits, then JTC is approaching universal kits: there is a ratchet (albeit with a metal handle), and a knob, cardan, a flexible extension. They are all under the square ¼ inch. Here, involuntarily, I would like to ask the company's marketing specialists why such a set costs even a little more than the JTC H096B, in which there is more tool and more than half an inch for “adults” - but the quality here is of course excellent, and the K2731 set will work for a very long time.

The set is useful for those who have to deal with inch fasteners in addition to metric - it has heads with sizes from 5/32 to 1/2 inches, including elongated ones. The choice of bits is usual - “crosses”, flat, hexagon, Torx. What pleased - adding to the set of "stars" from E4 to E10. So if the issue of price does not become critical - the JTC set is very interesting.

Suitcase standard form factor is convenient, but does not cause confidence frankly flimsy plastic snaps. Standing a little cheaper than “Bosch”, it contains less bits (only the cross bits are duplicated), and the drills too - for metal, for example, only from 1.5 mm to 6.5 mm in the set, from 3 to 8 for wood, and feather drills of only small diameter (10, 12, 20).

As a result, the choice becomes obvious - Bosch offers for the same essentially money richer bundling, and the drills in its set are better. Hitachi's pricing policy is clearly incapable of equaling with the German giant.
