It is hard to imagine a home computer without acoustics - given the widest multimedia capabilities of a PC, it would be foolish to deprive yourself of sound. However, external systems are often connected to laptops, compensating for the “purely symbolic” sound of the built-in speakers.

The term most often refers to active systems of the 2.0 or 2.1 format, connected by a standard wire with a 3.5 mm “jack” - just such an interface is needed for interfacing with a sound card. However, now even the budget built-in sound cards are capable of supporting at least 5.1 mode, so you should write about such acoustic systems. The origin of these speakers is easy to guess by design: and “wood plastic” (in fact, this is MDF, but you can understand this only by turning the speakers in your hands), and the overly bright backlight of the volume control is immediately given out by Chinese genes. However, remembering the physics school course, he delivers an extra reason to recall “Chinese watts” - if you compare the declared power of 6 W while the power supply says “5V 500mA” (read - 2.5 W), it becomes clear that Chinese turned weird.
There is another point in the design of the columns, which, in principle, we expect for such money, but it is unpleasant: both on the official website and online stores it is indicated that in addition to the 40-mm speakers, there are 60-mm sides on the front panels. All regulators and connectors are hidden on the back wall, which is not very convenient, although for computer speakers it is a generally accepted solution. Fortunately, there is a remote control included. As for sound, in the range of 70 Hz-10 kHz acoustics demonstrates excellent linearity, frequencies above 10 kHz are slightly picked up (which can be corrected with the tone control). Another thing is that the very name of this company has already become a household name: usually the columns of this company were taken immediately with the expectation of improvements that were really able to improve the sound. With the current prices, such an idea clearly loses its popularity.
Nevertheless, the H-200 kit managed to get an iXBT premium at one time: in their price category (alas, they cost half the price in 2011), these speakers had the best sound quality. Two satellites with plastic 85-mm mid-taps and silk inch tweeters are responsible for it, a 14-cm subwoofer, again plastic (“paper” was used once) was “prescribed” in the phase inverter subwoofer. An interesting solution with the control: in addition to the IR remote control, and very functional, there is also a remote display, on the upper wall of which there are control buttons. Well, +5 for convenience, +10 for ponts ... and plus a lot of price. However, to the credit of Microlab, we note that the amplifier built into the subwoofer is not powered by a cheap (and noisy noise) pulsed power supply, but from a real toroidal transformer. How to choose speakers for your computer?
Choosing computer acoustics, you need to immediately understand its palliative, the main goal in its design is the maximum ease of connecting to a computer, the sound quality here can significantly play Hi-Fi and the more Hi-End systems. However, it is not always a minus for a computer or laptop: if the sound source is a built-in sound card, then connecting a highly sensitive discrete amplifier to it will allow you to enjoy the entire spectrum of interference instead of music (it happens that you can even hear the movement of a wireless mouse). But the gruff built-in amplifier of computer acoustics simply won't notice these interferences.
If you are interested in sound quality, then in this case it will be possible to choose a sufficiently high-quality kit, if, of course, there is no desire or opportunity to assemble a kit “D / A amplifier + passive acoustic system”.
Recommendations on the choice of speakers for the computer will be largely traditional: first of all, it is necessary to take into account the size and quality of the speaker cone, small-sized acoustics not only will not give high-quality bass, but will also wear hard. At least 125-millimeter midrange in durable MDF cases will already be quite sufficient for the 2.0 system, but for the quality of the "bottom" will never be more than a subwoofer.
Computer acoustics have their own characteristic nuance with the convenience of control: almost always the amplifier is placed in one of the speakers, and there are also regulators. Many manufacturers hide the knobs on the back wall, obviously, assuming that the user can adjust the timbre and volume from the control panel of the sound card. However, it is most convenient to have kits where the regulators are “on the face” of the column closest to the right hand, so as not to overpay for remote controls.
